USA. United Concessions Group (UCG) has acquired four established dining locations at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, further strengthening the company’s long-standing presence at its home airport.
The transaction – led by UCG Owner Hayat Rababy and Executive Vice President Spencer Shaw – includes Shake Shack, Petit Gourmet, Cantina Taqueria & Tequila Bar and 800° Woodfired Kitchen.

UCG said the acquisitions reflect its broader strategy of “pursuing measured, sustainable growth in markets where the company can add operational strength and local expertise”.
Over the past five years, the company has expanded from two operating locations to eleven across multiple airports and venues, including Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International and Akron-Canton airports, and Great American Ball Park.

UCG has run concessions at Cleveland Hopkins for more than 40 years and now operates six locations at the travel hub, including Bar Symon and Chick-fil-A.
“Cleveland Hopkins is where our story began, and this acquisition represents both growth and continuity,” said Shaw. “These are strong locations with teams already in place. Our focus is simple: support the team members, honour the brands and deliver great food and hospitality to travellers.”

Rababy commented: “This deal aligns with how we grow, intentionally, responsibly and with a long-term view. We’re grateful for the trust of our partners and excited to keep building right here in Cleveland, where my husband Joe and I started it all.”
