MACAU, CHINA. L’Oréal Travel Retail Asia Pacific has announced Valentino Beauty’s inauguration of a new 2-AXIS counter in the heart of Macau’s luxury shopping district at The Venetian Macao, courtesy of an exclusive partnership with Duty Free Americas (DFA).
The launch of Valentino Beauty in DFA Macau invites shoppers to the celebration of self-expression through couture and beauty featuring formulas that amplify the couture house’s DNA: uniqueness, extravaganza and experimentation.
The 9sq m Valentino Beauty 2-AXIS counter, located on the first floor, is inspired by an Italian Palazzo. The shopping experience is complemented by Valentino Beauty’s key fragrance launch of the year, Born In Roma Yellow Dream. The counter features a striking pink terrazzo surface combined with black metal, magnified by the silhouette of the Born in Roma Yellow Dream bottle and the Valentino logo.
The back wall displays myriad choices, from makeup to fragrances for shoppers, aligned with the beauty brand’s desire to create a colour for every mood and desire.
Transient but unforgettable
The Born In Roma Yellow Dream launch tells the simultaneous story of the transience of summer travel yet it being so unforgettable that it etches into the human memory.
For Born In Roma Yellow Dream Donna, perfumers Anne Flipo and Nicolas Beaulieu were inspired by Rome, the city bathed in a warm, comforting light to reveal the characteristic traits of the Valentino woman – sparkling, vibrant, confident – the beauty brand said. The scent is decribed as a musky floral.
Born In Roma Yellow Dream Uomo is a spicy oriental that brings an element of surprise with its gingerbread accord. Perfumers Julie Massé and Violaine Collas were inspired by Rome in a deep, reassuring light to reveal the traits of a “radiant, energetic and determined man”.
