AUSTRIA. Priority Pass Excellence Awards 2024 has announced Vienna Lounge at Vienna Airport as its member-voted Global Lounge of the Year.
Vienna Lounge was chosen from 1,500 international locations, across more than 700 airports in 145 countries globally. Airport experience specialist Priority Pass, owned and operated by Collinson, will present the award at an industry event to be held at Vienna Airport in mid-April.
Spanning 2,400sq m, the Vienna Lounge highlights the value of the city as a travel destination by combining Viennese elegance, Austrian art and cuisine as well as panoramic views of the airport apron. The lounge features showers, relaxation rooms, a separate large meeting room and a year-round terrace.
The culinary concept is provided by DoN Group (Delicious or Nothing), known as Austria’s largest privately run catering company.
Notably, the entire lounge is decorated with art prints by famous Austrian artists including Egon Schiele, Gustav Klimt and many others thanks to the airport’s collaboration with the Leopold Museum in Vienna.
