When pop art meets perfume: Coty launches Daisy Marc Jacobs Murakami with dynamic campaign

Coty Travel Retail has unveiled the Daisy Marc Jacobs Murakami Limited Edition collection in global travel retail. It launched on 1 December.

Daisy Marc Jacobs Murakami is a high-profile collaboration that brings together Marc Jacobs’ whimsical Daisy fragrance franchise with the joyful artistry of Japanese artist Takashi Murakami.

The collection comprises four limited-edition Eau de Parfums: Daisy Marc Jacobs Murakami Yellow, Pink, Blue and Green. Each fragrance was reimagined through the lens of Murakami’s floral visual universe, introducing his colourful smiling flower motifs to the world of Daisy Marc Jacobs.

All four fragrances are presented as more concentrated Eau de Parfums. Yellow is inspired by the original Daisy Eau de Toilette, Pink draws from Daisy Love, Blue reinterprets Daisy Eau So Fresh and Green takes its cue from Daisy Wild.

Coty Travel Retail is supporting the roll-out with an immersive, art-gallery-inspired pop-up campaign running across major airport locations worldwide.

Vibrant colour palettes, oversized smiling flowers and dense floral patterns transform retail spaces into an illustrated Daisy Marc Jacobs Murakami universe. Campaign visuals featuring bright skies and lush green grass further reinforce the collaboration’s dream-like and welcoming aesthetic.

The launch is underpinned by a strong retailtainment strategy designed to drive engagement and discovery in the channel. Central to the experience is Marc Jacobs’ first-ever flower-shaped fragrance bar, which invites travellers to explore the four scents through an intuitive scent discovery experience.

Selected locations will also offer a Murakami Daisy nail art service, featuring personalised nail stickers inspired by the artist’s signature floral designs, creating a playful crossover between fragrance, art and beauty.

In addition, exclusive Daisy Marc Jacobs Murakami flower blotters and bubble stickers are available at select airports.

Coty Travel Retail has launched a special pop-up at Miami International Airport, timed to coincide with Art Basel Miami, one of the world’s most influential art events.

On 1 December, Coty unveiled the pop-up with a live DJ set and immersive visual storytelling, bringing Murakami’s artistic universe to life for travellers and art audiences alike.

In parallel, Coty is running an exclusive Daisy Marc Jacobs Murakami outpost at Sydney Airport, the only standalone installation of its kind. Running from 5 December to 5 February 2026, the pop-up immerses travellers in a surreal garden setting characterised by oversized Murakami daisies.

The experience includes bottle engraving, Murakami-inspired nail art, life-sized floral displays and the signature flower-shaped fragrance discovery bar.

Further activations rolling out from December through March 2026 will appear in Thailand, the UK, Australia, Japan, Singapore, Ireland, Malaysia, China, New Zealand and Portugal.

“This collaboration marks a new chapter of creativity and desirability for the Daisy franchise,” said Coty Global Travel Retail Senior Vice President Mette Engell. “By blending Marc Jacobs’ iconic collection with Murakami’s irresistible artistic universe, we’re bringing travellers a one-of-a-kind experience that celebrates beauty, colour and imagination.

“We are especially excited to bring this moment to life at our exclusive Sydney outpost and to share this limited-edition experience with travellers across the globe.”
