MACAU, CHINA. DFS Group has partnered with Swiss luxury beauty house Valmont to introduce the first La Maison Valmont in Macau.
DFS described the boutique, exclusively available in the Special Administrative Region at the recently reopened T Galleria Beauty by DFS, Galaxy Macau, as a “luxury beauty haven”.
Valmont, founded by Sophie and Didier Guillon, is renowned for its upscale anti-aging cosmetics and fragrances.
Based on the house’s key concept of ‘When Art Meets Beauty’, La Maison Valmont is designed to be a modern, luxurious and peaceful retail space, “where a beauty store meets a veritable cabinet of curiosities”, DFS said.
To enhance the customer experience, each guest is accompanied to discover the line-up of Valmont, L’Elixir des Glaciers and Storie Veneziane products, and experience a luxurious and sensorial high-end treatment.
Staying true to the ‘When Art Meets Beauty’ mantra, La Maison Valmont is filled with artworks created and collected by Didier Guillon, President & Artistic Director of Valmont Group and Foundation Valmont. The interior décor is dominated by gold and white – the familiar Valmont colours – together with DNA, the brand’s signature element.
Underlining Valmont’s origins, images of the Swiss Alps serve as the key design concept among wall patterns, cashier back-wall and product display tables.
A L’Elixir des Glaciers zone is exclusively set up to showcase the collection of the same name, themed in black and gold. The zone interiors nod to the brand’s luxurious legacy, featuring opulent accents including black and gold marble floors, shimmering gold walls and the Swiss glaciers reflected in product display tables.
Two consultation tables allow customers to experience Valmont’s high-efficacy products and indulge in a professional skin consultation.
As part of T Galleria Beauty by DFS, Galaxy Macau’s new personalised beauty services offering, guests can also enjoy professional and luxurious treatments in La Maison Valmont’s two private treatment rooms.
DFS described the interior as simple yet elegant and the environment as cozy and comfortable.
Valmont treatments are notable for what Valmont calls the Butterfly Movement, developed in-house and widely used across its treatments. The Butterfly Movement reactivates skin micro circulation and promotes lymphatic drainage.
