WHSmith North America celebrates local culture with four speciality store launches at Nashville Airport

WHSmith North America brings a diverse array of retail options to Nashville Airport including Whiskey Trailhead

USA. WHSmith North America, incorporating Marshall Retail Group and InMotion, has unveiled four more retail concepts at Nashville International Airport’s (BNA) revamped Grand Lobby.

Among the speciality stores is Whiskey Trailhead, which is inspired by the popular Tennessee Whiskey Trail – a tour of more than 30 whiskey distilleries across the state.

The store features a wide variety of whiskey and merchandise from various stops along the trail, with tastings available for customers.

Confectionery specialist Natalie’s Candy Jar has also opened at BNA. The self-serve candy store houses more than 500 varieties of conventional, nostalgic, proprietary and hard-to-find candies, high-end chocolates and other candy-related gifts. Offerings include chocolates, sours, gummies, jubes and jells, and an assortment of sugar-free treats, among others.

Natalie’s Candy Jar’s expansive and colourful array of sweets and confectionery items are now available to travellers

WHSmith North America has also launched the Musicians Hall of Fame & Museum concept at BNA.

The store celebrates Tennessee’s music culture and is decorated with a replica of Memphis’ famous Sun City Recording Studio (where Elvis Presley first recorded), a black guitar collage made of real guitars, a Jimi Hendrix ‘Purple Haze’ record replica and a jukebox with flying records.

A tribute to Nashville’s well-loved country artists, the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum offers novelty and speciality retail items including t-shirts, rhinestone jean jackets, western hats, mugs and more. There is also a section dedicated to Hatch Show Print posters available for purchase in-store.

WHSmith North America CEO Toby Keir said: “Nashville is such a unique place and our teams at WHSmith North America are proud to provide travellers a place to take a piece of this great city home with them.

“We are grateful for the opportunity to contribute these imaginative concepts to BNA’s Grand Lobby project. It was a pleasure to work with the amazing teams at Fraport, USA, The Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority, and our locally based ACDBE partners, Angela Mitchell Hill and Marti Emch, as well as our locally based brand partners, and we look forward to continuing our partnership in the future.”

The speciality retailer also operates MEEL, InMotion and The Arts District Market at BNA, and is a partner in Nasah’s Nurture-Nature. ✈
