Whyte & Mackay appoints Jonathan Driver as Rare Whisky Director

Jonathan Driver is appointed Whyte & Mackay Rare Whisky Director.UK/INTERNATIONAL. Whyte & Mackay has appointed Jonathan Driver as Rare Whisky Director, underlining the company’s commitment to building its luxury Scotch whisky business.

Driver will add impetus to the company’s international growth plans for its luxury whisky portfolio, which includes The Dalmore highland malt and Jura single malt.

Driver has 27 years’ experience in the Scotch whisky industry. At Diageo he was Global Malts Director and, most recently, a luxury brand consultant working on Johnnie Walker Blue Label and higher marques, as well as other specialist projects.

“We are delighted to have someone of Jonathan’s calibre joining our team here at Whyte & Mackay,” said Global Commercial Director Nick Garland. “He brings a wealth of experience, and his expertise will help us to continue the dynamic growth of The Dalmore and Jura brands in the right way.”
