Women in Travel Retail (WiTR+) is inviting its members to nominate a charity, which the group will support through money raised during events and donations, for 2025.
Each year WiTR+ members are encouraged to put forward a charity which focuses on women and/or children, with the goal of raising at least €15,000. The charity’s goal or project must be very specific and tangible and, in the past, has included building houses, buying a school bus and, most recently, raising money to buy bikes for children to get to school in Sri Lanka.
As reported, WiTR+ surpassed its fundraising goal for its 2024 charity, For Resilience Italian Swiss Association’s (FRASI) Bike to School project.

Thanks to generous donations from Victoria’s Secret, Brown-Forman and attendees at WiTR+’s networking events throughout the year, WiTR+ raised €25,800 for FRASI, enough to equip 200 children with bicycles.
The deadline for submission for the 2025 charity is 16 December, with further information, criteria and a nomination form available here.
Details on WiTR+’s new mentoring programme are available via email (info@womenintr.com) and WiTR+ members can register for the annual online Christmas quiz on 3 December here. ✈️
