‘World of Wonder’ – Executive Retail Shops showcase vision for private jet terminals at second annual event

USA. Duty Free Holdings-owned Executive Retail Shops hosted its second annual World of Wonder event in Miami in early March. The event at the Casa Neos venue provided a showcase for the company’s vision for the future of retail targeting travellers at private jet terminals.

More than 320 guests attended an evening that the retailer described as a blend of “culture, craftsmanship and sensory discovery through curated experiences spanning premium spirits, fine fragrance, cigars and confectionery”.

Celebrity guests included entrepreneurs and TV personalities Abe and Erin Lichy of The Real Housewives of New York City and Kiki Barth of The Real Housewives of Miami.

Guests moved through a series of immersive worlds inspired by global destinations. Spirit of the Sea transported attendees to the Mediterranean, where a vintage Vespa and coastal-inspired décor created a photographic backdrops.

House of Smoke evoked a golden age in Old Havana, as master cigar rollers crafted cigars on site and guests could sample cocktails and drinks from brand partners that included Angel’s Envy, Rémy XO, Gold Bar and Johnnie Walker Blue paired with Gurkha Cigars.

The evening concluded at Le Salon Sucré, a Paris-inspired confectionery salon where flambé desserts were served alongside espresso martinis made with Bacardi Patrón XO Café and Licor 43 Carajillos provided by distributor Monarq.

Other spirits, Champagnes and wines on offer included Dom Pérignon, Teremana Tequila, Hendrick’s Gin, Zacapa No. 23 and Rémy Martin 1738, alongside a Jägermeister Cold Brew station serving chilled coffee cocktails. Brand ambassadors were dressed by Italian fashion brand 120% Lino.
