Yves Saint Laurent (YSL) has created 200ml limited-edition versions of its masculine fragrances L’Homme, La Nuit de L’Homme and L’Homme Libre. They will be available in European travel retail doors from mid-March.
The taller, stylised bottles evoke the towering heights of city skyscrapers, according to the brand. L’Homme is described as a woody aromatic, ideal for elegant and charismatic men. Its key ingredients include bergamot, ginger, violet, basil and cedar.

La Nuit de L’Homme is said to be vibrant, sensual and seductive. It features cardamom, lavender and Tonka bean. Lastly, the light and airy L’Homme Libre is described as a perfect match for the energetic male. It is composed of bergamot, basil, star anise, nutmeg, pink pepper, white patchouli, resin and leather.
In other news, YSL has further extended its La Nuit de L’Homme fragrance with a Frozen Cologne version, also on-counter from mid-March.
The juice is blend of lemon, mandarin and bergamot, enhanced with an “iced cocktail” harmony, which contrasts with the heart of black pepper and geranium – two signature notes of the original fragrance. The base features vetiver, cedar, Tonka bean and cashmere woods.
The flacon for La Nuit de L’Homme Frozen Cologne is a reworked version of its predecessor. This time the fragrance name is written in silver letters, atop a frosted base.
