ITALY. Leading wine-maker Casa Vinicola Zonin has launched a new gift box concept for travel retailers which can be tailored to their needs and retailed at a price they decide.
Describing the Best of Italy gift box collection, Duty Free Manager Massimo Tuzzi said: “You [travel retailers] choose the retail price position and we customise together with you the best solution by choosing the right wines to ‘feed’ our innovative gift box concept.”
The new collection will be presented at the TFWA Asia Pacific show in Singapore next week (Stand D6).
The Regional Collection, described as a journey through Italy, features a Tuscany gift box, Sicily gift box, Piedmont gift box and others.
The Gift Collection includes:
·Flavours of Tuscany gift box: extra-virgin Tuscan olive oil and an oil pourer together with a bottle of Chianti Classico Docg
·Flavours of Sicily gift box: extra-virgin Sicilian olive oil and an oil pourer together with a bottle of Sicilian Nero d’Avola wine
·Grappa di Chianti Classico together with a bottle of Chianti Classico Docg
· Italian regional recipes: two bottles of Doc wine together with a regional recipes book.
The younger Energy Collection comprises:
·Two bottles of sparkling Italian wine (Asti Docg, Prosecco, etc) in an innovative and eye-catching gift box
·Two bottles of Veneto wines (Valpolicella Doc, Soave Doc) in an innovative and eye-catching gift box.
