SWITZERLAND. Zürich Airport’s Airside Centre is poised to celebrate its first birthday.
To mark the anniversary all shops, cafes and restaurants at the location have organised a variety of special offers for passengers between 3 October and 13 November.
Passengers will benefit from special promotions, free gifts and special discounts. A variety of advertising media will be used throughout the airport and on location in the Airside Centre in order to draw passengers’ attention to the various special offers. And when they check in, passengers will receive a booklet containing shopping vouchers and promotional information.
In addition, the occasion will be marked with a special birthday candle (pictured above) that will be installed close to the runway.
In other news, Zürich Airport’s retail offer continues to evolve. The location’s fashion portfolio was expanded on 1 September with a new s.Oliver boutique, situated in Airport Shopping.
And in August The Nuance Group opened its own Swatch Shop in Dock E.
Also in August, Travelex moved out of Dock E and now offers its services from three locations in the vicinity of, and inside, the new Airside Centre.
Moreover, for foreign exchange and other financial transactions, UBS now has branches in Departure and Arrival 1, while Credit Suisse has branches in Departure and Arrival 2.
Lastly, Citydisc has withdrawn from the Airside Centre and is now concentrating its operations in Airport Shopping. However, a selection of CDs and DVDs can still be purchased at the Airside Centre from the Sound & Vision electronics outlet.
