USA. 3Sixty Duty Free has named Gary Cavanagh as President of Operations, effective from 5 January. He will succeed Alex Anson-Esparza, who has served the company as Chief Operating Officer since 2019 and leaves the company at year-end for personal reasons.
Cavanagh has more than two decades of experience in senior executive roles with leading sector players. These include ten years as Chief Operating Officer/CFO at Nuance North America until January 2015, and later a period as CFO/Business Development Consultant for Heinemann Americas until early 2019.

A statement from 3Sixty noted that Cavanagh brings “strong leadership and deep knowledge of the travel retail sector, having worked extensively with many of the industry’s leading operators”.
“We are delighted to welcome Gary to 3Sixty,” said 3Sixty Duty Free Executive Vice Chairman Roberto Graziani. “His experience and understanding of the travel retail business will be invaluable as we continue to strengthen our operations and deliver on our strategic priorities.
“At the same time, I would like to thank Alex for his leadership and the many contributions he has made during an important period of transformation for 3Sixty.” ✈
