3Sixty Duty Free partners with tourism developer ITM to target cruise market in Mexico

MEXICO. Omnichannel retailer 3Sixty Duty Free & More has struck a partnership with tourism developer ITM Group to target cruise travellers as the regional market reopens. On 30 June 3Sixty opened a 2,734sq ft store in the Mexican Caribbean village of Mahahual, owned and operated by ITM Group.

The village serves visitors to the popular western Caribbean port of Costa Maya. The store offers duty free liquor & tobacco along with duty paid perfumes & cosmetics, confectionery, accessories and destination merchandise.

3Sixty said in a statement: “As major cruise lines welcome guests back after the COVID-19-induced hiatus, 3Sixty leveraged the 15-month halt to strategically focus its investments in creative solutions aimed at attracting passengers back into its retail locations.”
