GERMANY. Specialised German tobacco company Von Eicken, with its motto “For the Joy of Tobacco” has been producing quality tobacco products since 1770.
Following the success of the Candlelight Mini Cherry and Vanilla cigars as well as the global growing trend towards aromatic cigarillos Von Eicken has launched and extended its Candlelight assortment with two new products: Gentle Senoritas Cherry and Vanilla Cigars. For Vanilla Senoritas a selected Sumatra wrapper is used (like Candle Light Mini Vanilla). For Cherry Senoritas Von Eicken has chosen the Connecticut wrapper which harmonises well with the Cherry flavour. The filler is like other Candle Light products: a blend of Indonesian, Brazil, Havana and Domingo tobaccos with a portion of quality vanilla or cherry pipe tobaccos.
In addition to the Candlelight Gentle Senoritas Cherry and Vanilla cigars (pictured), Von Eicken is also launching five new Harvest brand roll-your-own varieties in 40g pouches: Harvest Cherry, Menthol, Peach, Strawberry and Vanilla, all of which were due to be launched at TFWA Asia Pacific this month.
These cigars are available in an attractive carton five-pack and a carton display of 25. Each cigar is individually packed inside an aluminium fresh pack which guarantees long lasting freshness and perfect condition. Compact display units also provide good presentation in the check-out zone.
Joh Wilh von Eicken export manager Asia, Israel & France Mary Lam said the main target for the product is the 25 year old to 40 year old smoker. Candlelight Gentle Senoritas Cherry and Vanilla are launching now in duty free markets.
