US. Passenger traffic at Las Vegas McCarran International Airport increased by +13.3% in February compared to the same month last year to 3.07 million.
Knight Ridder reports that McCarran’s strong February performance could be a good indicator of renewed strength in the city’s travel industry. The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority have said this year’s January visitor count was the best in city history with 3.05 million reported visitors. McCarran previously reported 2.98 million January air passengers.
