AUSTRALIA. HDS Retail Asia Pacific has opened a new specialty souvenir store under the Discover name, located airside at Melbourne International Airport. The store is split into two linked outlets, Discover Australia and Discover Victoria.
HDS Retail said: “The opening of the first Discover souvenir store heralds a new strategic direction for HDS Retail Asia Pacific, setting a benchmark in the design of specialty souvenir retailing in Australia.
“We are very excited to be partnering with Melbourne Airport to launch the first Discover store in Australia, and are pleased to continue working with Melbourne Airport to provide travellers with the best possible retail offer.”
The retailer said the outlet uses “iconic imagery, colour palettes and textures to showcase the best souvenirs from around Australia, along with locally themed products for travellers to remember their journey”.
