DENMARK. Pilgrim has unveiled a specially targeted Autumn 2008 women’s jewellery collection for travel retailers, made up of best-selling items in a wide choice of designs.
Inspired by lightness, nature’s beauty, memories and reflections, the pieces include keepsakes such as lockets. The babushkas, lockets and purses open, so the wearer can store personal items.
Describing the targeted travel retail collection, Travel Retail Account Manager Annette Møller Andersen said: “This collection is very strong for us in travel retail. We are taking the best-selling designs and focusing on creating a tailored collection for travel retail. Our customers want a wide choice of designs and colours in both silver and gold, and we are able to offer them the very latest design trends. As with all of Pilgrim’s collections, the Autumn 2008 collection features designs inspired by nature, memories and fun statements.”

501 Droplet: The descent of a single droplet is depicted in a smooth and simple way. It includes CRYSTALLIZED – Swarovski Elements.
498 Sprawling nature: With foliage and flowers, the sprawling nature series reflects the beauty in the tailored and the untamed. Crystals large and small add adornment.
499 Floral shell: This organic-inspired series is a medley of plant life and seashore. The textured enamel shell surface is paired with shining CRYSTALLIZED – Swarovski Elements.

500 Babushka & bloom: A depiction of feminine strength, this series offers a burst of enamel flowers and smiling babushkas. Acrylic beads and CRYSTALLIZED – Swarovski Elements adorn the bracelet while one necklace provides a small nest for treasures.
507 Autumn flower: Inspired by the fading of summer blooms to the unfolding of an autumn floral, this series is earth-embracing with its seeds, leaves and flowers hosting CRYSTALLIZED – Swarovski Elements.
505 Favourite things: Includes flowers, hearts and purses. Several chains are adorned with ornate details including CRYSTALLIZED – Swarovski Elements.

502 Locket: The locket series is inspired by tradition and loved ones. Beads of glass add colour, and a poetic inscription on a large locket completes this series.
Pinwheel: Inspired by the autumn breeze, the pinwheel is encircled. Resin, leather cord and CRYSTALLIZED – Swarovski Elements complement the pretty pinwheel.
503 Spin: With its bold simplicity, the spin series inspiration comes from geometric movement. Black onyx and a white stone take centre stage.
Global fusion: An eclectic mix of natural elements unites. From leaves, clovers and seeds, to glass stone and natural stone such as rutile quartz.
Blessings from India: This range was inspired by a visit to India by Annemette, one of Pilgrim’s designers. At one of the local markets in a mountain village, she found beads and stones made of a variety of materials and designed a series inspired by the Tibetan prayer necklace using the items she brought back home.
