Jessica Biel, Revlon’s new Global Brand Ambassador |
US. Revlon has signed up actress Jessica Biel to be a new Global Brand Ambassador. Biel joins Revlon’s star-studded line-up of “accomplished, modern and glamorous women” including Academy Award winning actresses Halle Berry and Jennifer Connelly, actresses Jessica Alba and Beau Garrett and supermodel and entrepreneur Elle McPherson.
Revlon President and Chief Executive Officer Alan T. Ennis commented: “Jessica Biel is a beautiful woman and an accomplished actress. Her modern and youthful spirit play to the essence of the Revlon brand. We are very excited to make Jessica part of the Revlon family.”
In addition to being featured in upcoming global advertising campaigns, Biel will be involved with various company-sponsored philanthropic activities and fundraising events for charity.
Through the EIF Revlon Run Walk and other efforts, Revlon has raised US$65 million for research, counselling and outreach programmes to support women’s health and participating breast cancer programmes.
Biel joined Revlon Brand Ambassadors Jennifer Connelly and Jessica Alba at this year’s EIF Revlon Run Walk, which was held in New York on 2 May.
“Revlon represents today’s modern woman,” noted Biel. “I am honoured to be associated with this strong global brand and to be part of a company that has done so much for women around the world.”
About Jessica Biel
Biel made her acting debut in 1996 on the highly rated television series, 7th Heaven. She received much critical acclaim for her work on The Illusionist opposite Oscar-nominated actors Edward Norton and Paul Giamatti. Biel will next be seen in the romantic drama Easy Virtue opposite Colin Firth and Kristin Scott Thomas, followed by a quirky and comedic turn in the political satire Nailed. Biel is also known for her comedy, having starred in big box office hits such as I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry, alongside Adam Sandler, as well as the action film Blade: Trinity.
