Quality not quantity was the watchword for Braun at this year’s TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes. Post-show, the company reported -15% fewer meetings compared with 2010, with noticeably fewer visitors from the Americas and the Middle East. Just over half the visitors to the Braun stand were from Europe, and 21% from Asia Pacific.
Nonetheless the company described the general customer mood as “excellent”, and said that its new products, particularly shavers and hair care products, were very well received. Moreover, visitors were said to have reacted positively to the new Braun ambassadors: José Mourinho for Braun’s top shavers, and Lucy Liu for Braun hair care products.
