The Trinity Forum returns to Bangkok; King Power to host key event

The Trinity Forum returns to Bangkok in 2014

THAILAND. The Trinity Forum, the leading global airport commercial revenues conference, will be held in Bangkok, Thailand on 26-28 February 2014.

The event, for the first time a three-way alliance between Airports Council International (ACI), ACI Asia-Pacific and The Moodie Report, is being hosted by King Power International Group of Companies.

It will be held at the acclaimed King Power Complex and Aksra Theatre. The adjacent Pullman Bangkok King Power Hotel is the event’s official hotel, with highly preferential rates promised.

This is the second time that The Trinity Forum has been held at the King Power Complex – the first time in its 11-year history that the event has returned to a former venue. The 2011 Trinity Forum, a huge success, was held there, attracting an unprecedentedly influential speakers’ line-up and a then-record attendance, plus a brilliant range of social activities.

February’s Trinity Forum, themed ‘Towards Cutting-Edge Retail’ will champion excellence and innovation across a range of areas from supply chain to social media, design to data capture, as well as exploring the upside potential of true industry stakeholder collaboration. The first-ever Trinity Prize, announced at last year’s event, will also be awarded.

King Power International Group of Companies Chairman Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha said: “We are delighted to welcome back The Trinity Forum, the world’s most prestigious airport commercial revenues event, to Bangkok. King Power believes in championing innovation and excellence, two of The Trinity Forum’s key themes. Delegates can be assured of the warmest of Thai welcomes.”

The Moodie Report Chairman Martin Moodie said: “Those who attended the last Trinity Forum in Bangkok will never forget the warmth of our host’s hospitality, the wonderful mix of cultural and historic social venues, and the strength of the progamme. We’re thrilled to be working once more with King Power Group of Companies, one of the industry’s most quality-minded retailers.

“This time round we plan for things to be even better. The theme ‘Towards Cutting-Edge Retail’ is designed to stretch the minds and ambitions of everyone present and we promise a tantalising mix of internal and external perspectives on our industry, its challenges and its opportunities.”

ACI World Director General Angela Gittens stated: “A keen interest in developing and maximising non-aeronautical revenues has become commonplace among the leaders of world’s most successful airports, large and small.

“Today’s executives know that the financial viability of their operations are increasingly tied to their success at diversifying airport revenue streams and the need to reconnect with thought leaders on the topic is a key activity in our dynamic industry.

“The Trinity Forum has become a must-attend master class on non-aeronautical revenue generation for airport executives who continually strive to improve their knowledge, discover new best practices, collaborate and share information, all with the goal of taking the performance of their airports to the next level.

“ACI is excited to return to Bangkok in 2014 and thrilled that The Trinity Forum will be hosted once again by King Power. With our partner The Moodie Report, you can rest assured that this Forum will be a stellar investment for you and your airport.”

This annual event has been one of the most important and influential airport commercial revenues conference in the Asia- Pacific region, with a proven track record in bringing inspirational speakers from all over the world to give thought-provoking discussions.

“With the gracious support of the event hosts, King Power, we will be bringing the 2014 Trinity Forum back to Bangkok, Thailand, a very popular tourist destination and a rapidly growing aviation market. We look forward to welcoming our members to Bangkok in February 2014.”
