UAE. To demonstrate its support for global cancer awareness, Dubai Airports has launched a major campaign under the theme, “Early Detection Saves Lives!”
As part of the campaign, the airport has unveiled what is being hailed as the world’s largest cancer awareness ribbon on an air traffic control tower at Dubai International.
The ribbon – made in 24 colours to represent all types of cancer – measures 128ft in length and 60ft across, and spans nearly the entire height of the ATC tower.
Launched under the patronage of HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Chairman of Dubai Airports, the campaign will offer airport employees free check-ups at facilities at Terminals 1 and 3.
