QATAR. Qatar Duty Free has opened its new sports concept store, InPlay, at Hamad International Airport. The new outlet offers sportswear, equipment and accessories for men, women and children.
“Qatar Duty Free is delighted to introduce InPlay, a new multi-brand sports concept store that we have developed internally with our retail team,” said Qatar Duty Free Senior Vice President Keith Hunter. “We believe we have brought together a strong collection of sporting items, clothing and brands that cater to the type of passengers travelling through Qatar on both business and leisure. It is unusual for an airport to carry such an extensive range of sporting apparel, but we know that our customers are going to appreciate the fact that they can pick up a pair of trainers, sunglasses or a new tennis racket while they are travelling.”
Brands available at InPlay include Nike (for shoes, sunglasses, apparel), Arena (for swimwear and swimming accessories), Babolat (for tennis rackets and bags), Dunlop (for badminton sets, squash rackets and balls, and tennis balls), Zem (for shoes), Hickies plastic shoe laces, Crocs shoes, Oakley sunglasses and others. Fans of FC Barcelona will find a selection of branded sports kit on sale at InPlay.
At Hamad International, Qatar Duty Free offers 40,000sq m of retail and food & beverage across more than 70 retail outlets and over 30 cafés and restaurants.
Leading brands include Nike, Arena, Dunlop, Oakley and Crocs, plus there is a zone dedicated to FC Barcelona merchandise |
