Changi Airport seeks partners for eight speciality concessions in Terminal 1

SINGAPORE. Changi Airport Group (CAG) is seeking retail partners for eight speciality retail concessions at Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 1 through a Direct Marketing Exercise. The units are located in Departure/Transit Lounges East and West, Level 2.

The airport company said: “We are looking for exciting and unique mid-price speciality brands and concepts that will inject buzz to and differentiate the retail offering at Terminal 1 of Singapore Changi Airport. All categories may be considered, except for liquor & tobacco and fragrances & cosmetics.

There are two shop layout options available for concessions A to G, and bidders can apply with different brands for each option. There is one option available under concession H.

Changi Airport Group aims to build on the broad shopping offer in T1 with its latest leasing drive.

Shop sizes range from 34sq m to 150sq m. For concession A to G, contracts run for three years from 1 September 2019 or upon the date of physical handover of the premises by CAG, whichever is later. For concession H, the term runs for three years from 11 October 2019 or whenever the premises are handed over.

There is no option for renewal at the end of the contracts.

Separately, CAG is inviting interested companies to participate in a Direct Marketing Exercise for the car rental services concession across terminals 1, 2, 3 and 4. The airport company said it was “looking for international brands with a proven track record”.

There are two concessions available, each covering desks in arrivals across the four terminals.

Tenancies will run from 25 November for three years, with an option to renew for a further three at CAG’s discretion.
