UAE. French beauty house Guerlain is pre-launching new fragrance Mon Guerlain Eau de Parfum Intense with Dubai Duty Free on 1 August.
A pre-launch pop-up will run throughout August and will be spread across five large podiums in various concourses at DXB (Dubai International Airport). One special podium in Concourse D will also feature an on-site calligrapher who will personalise travelling customers’ Mon Guerlain bottles on selected days in late August.
Actress Angelina Jolie is the face of Mon Guerlain Eau de Parfum Intense. Since 2017, Ms Jolie has been the muse of Mon Guerlain, the Maison’s most recent feminine fragrance, created by the duo of Master Perfumer Thierry Wasser and Guerlain Perfumer Delphine Jelk. According to the brand, she is “a multi-faceted, strong, free, and sensual woman” and is the perfect ambassador for the perfume.
Guerlain welcomed Ms Jolie to Paris on July 8-9. During her visit the Maison revealed the new Mon Guerlain campaign and celebrated the upcoming full launch of Mon Guerlain Eau de Parfum Intense, set for the end of August.
Mon Guerlain is a woody oriental fragrance that offers lavender and mandarin top notes, and woody patchouli and sandalwood base notes. The scent is tied together by vanilla heart notes — one of the brand’s most notable olfactory signatures.
Thew new edp offers a special iteration of Guerlain’s ‘quadrilobé’ bottle and features a glass weight and copper band and a rose gold palette. The distinctive bottle was designed in 1908 and has been a constant reference point for Guerlain over the years. It takes its name from the stopper of an alchemist’s bottle — which is crafted from one piece of glass to resemble four lobes.
