Foreo extends travel retail footprint with new inflight collaborations

Foreo’s Luna 3 device for Normal Skin takes off inflight with Virgin Atlantic and RwandAir

Swedish beauty tech and wellbeing house Foreo has extended its reach in travel retail through new inflight listings.

In partnership with 3Sixty Duty Free, Foreo has secured new collaborations with VietJet Air, Tigerair Taiwan, RwandAir and Virgin Atlantic. Earlier this year Foreo teamed up with Air Macau, Hong Kong Airlines and Malaysia Airlines.

The listings increase Foreo’s presence in Europe, Africa and Vietnam, where the brand is committed to placing well-known Foreo products with airlines to tap into a new customer base.

The low-cost carrier VietJet Air will feature Luna Mini 2 in Pink, Tigerair Taiwan the Luna Mini 3 in Mint and RwandAir the Luna 3 device for Normal Skin.

Virgin Atlantic is listing the same Luna 3, along with the Bear Fuchsia. The device offers microcurrent treatments to in-flight travellers – this is a first, according to Foreo, in the beauty world.

Foreo said the availability of Foreo devices on international flights “significantly demonstrates the brand’s expansion into a heightened market, fulfilling its goals of becoming one of the most sought-after products in the travel retail segment”.

As Foreo’s long-time partner, 3Sixty has curated marketing support to the brand, in a bid to enhance its exposure on the airlines, via both inflight magazines and online platforms. E-banner support and inside front cover packages will assist Foreo in introducing the brand to new customers, “beating out the competitors in the race for views and clicks”, 3Sixty said.
