CHINA. Luxury wellbeing and beauty brand Rituals has joined forces with cdf Sunrise Duty Free and Amberich International (HK) to open a point of sale at Shanghai Pudong Airport Terminal 1, bolstering travel retail growth in China.
Officially unveiled in July, the retail space showcases the brand’s best-selling collections.

The opening represents Rituals’ wider expansion across cdf Sunrise Duty Free’s China travel retail network, which includes Shanghai Hongqiao, Beijing Capital and Daxing airports.
This latest move also builds on Rituals’ successful partnership with the retailer, with flagship boutiques at the cdf Sanya International Duty Free Shopping Complex and cdf Haikou International Duty Free Shopping Complex, both in Hainan.

The collaboration aims to engage shoppers from key Chinese regions, including Shanghai, Zhejiang and Jiangsu.
Rituals CEO Raymond Cloosterman said: “We are very proud of this partnership with cdf-Sunrise Duty Free and Amberich International (HK) that really extends our mission across some of the key locations in China travel retail.

“Rituals is the fastest-growing beauty brand in Europe, and our presence in China’s busiest airport is an important milestone for us as we continue to expand in Asia. Our innovative concept comes with a fresh perspective on beauty and wellbeing.
“Our products are elegant and distinctive, and with our democratic price points, we can serve a much bigger audience.” ✈
