Luxury house Chanel has launched its autumn Équinoxe makeup collection. The line is inspired by the rich colours of the season and the archival velvet and tweed pieces of the fashion house.
Launched on 17 August, the line is now available in selected stores in global travel retail.
The collection offers warm hues that take inspiration from the red-orange and ochre shades of trees in autumn.
It includes a new limited-edition eyeshadow range called Ombre Première Libre, which offers six natural earthy shades. The eyeshadows deliver intense colour payoff with a satin finish and long-lasting wear.
Delivered in ombre glass tubes with a new cap and built-in sponge tip applicator, which helps to create buildable colour, the eyeshadows come in the Sycomore, Chêne Brun, Cèdre Cuivré, Acacia, Bois D’Amarante and Mûrier Noir shades.

The autumn collection also introduces new blush, lip balm and nail polish shades. The Douceur Équinoxe blush line gives the cheeks a flush of intense colour with a natural, luminous glow. The blush is embossed with the double C logo and comes in the Beige et Corail and Beige Rosé et Mauve shades.
The Rouge Coco Bloom line has been extended with six shades that coordinate with two new shades of Le Vernis nail polish. Rouge Coco Bloom is a hydrating and plumping lip balm with a high concentration of pigments that have been infused with Chanel’s Hydra Boost complex. The shades are Ease, Sweetness, Kind, Warm, Bright and Wild.
The two Le Vernis shades are Été Indien and Bois Des Îles. The former is a bright orange and the latter is a red brown, representing the transition from summer to autumn.
The Équinoxe de Chanel Makeup advertising campaign once again stars American actress/Chanel Global Brand Ambassador Kristen Stewart. ✈
