SOUTH KOREA. Lotte Duty Free has signed a business agreement with South Korean retail and travel platform Interpark Triple for a strategic marketing agreement to attract more foreign visitors.
Lotte Duty Free CEO Kim Ju Nam and Interpark Triple CEO Chae Hwi-young attended the signing ceremony yesterday at the Star Lounge of Lotte Duty Free’s flagship store in Myeong-dong.

Interpark Triple operates the country’s leading travel and entertainment platform Interpark and hyper-personalised travel platform Triple.
This agreement is designed to provide differentiated experiences to both domestic and foreign travellers by expanding customer engagement and developing travel products for duty-free shopping amid the rising demand for overseas travel.
Under this agreement, both companies will establish a cooperation system and strengthen their marketing collaboration. Interpark Triple customers who visit Lotte Duty Free’s domestic and international stores will be entitled to various benefits including LDF Pay, which can be used like cash. Customers can also enjoy LDF membership upgrades as well as online shopping points and discount coupons.
Both companies are planning to introduce more promotions in the future, said the travel retailer.
Kim Ju Nam said: “To revitalise the tourism industry, we have joined hands with Interpark Triple to expand benefits for global travellers. Lotte Duty Free will continue to strengthen marketing promotions to increase the convenience of duty-free shopping for domestic and foreign customers.”
Chae Hwi-young added: “Starting with this agreement, we expect to contribute to the revitalisation of inbound and outbound tourism by strengthening customer benefits and service competitiveness that combine travel and duty-free shopping.
