VIETNAM. Dubai Airports (DXB) CEO Paul Griffiths is the latest influential business figure to join an already power-packed speaker line-up at The Trinity Forum, which takes place on 5-6 November in Ho Chi Minh City.
The event, to be co-hosted by Airports Corporation of Vietnam and Imex Pan Pacific Group, is the world’s most influential travel retail and airport commercial revenues conference.
The Trinity Forum is owned by The Moodie Davitt Report and organised in partnership with Airports Council International (ACI) Asia-Pacific & Middle East and ACI World.
A much-respected figure in the aviation sector, Griffiths has played a pivotal role in driving the airport’s remarkable growth and series of milestones since assuming the leadership role in September 2007.
These include the inauguration of DXB Terminal 3 in October 2008 and Dubai’s second airport, Dubai World Central (DWC) in June 2010. Under his guidance, the DWC passenger terminal commenced operations in October 2013.
Griffiths, alongside His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Airports, marked a landmark moment in December 2018 by welcoming DXB’s billionth passenger.
Notably, he successfully steered the business through the COVID-19 crisis, and helped drive international travel recovery, with the hub exceeding pre-pandemic traffic levels in 2023.
Griffiths said: “I’m excited to join fellow industry leaders at The Trinity Forum 2024 in Ho Chi Minh City this November. This event has become the go-to place for innovation and collaboration in travel retail, emphasising how important commercial revenue is for improving the guest experience.
“I’m looking forward to some great discussions that will help shape the future of our industry and uncover new opportunities for growth and excellence.”
