UK. Stena Line affiliate company R&F Travel Retail has opened its first cruise shop in Holyhead, Wales as part of its expansion strategy.
Holyhead Port, owned and operated by Stena Line, serves over 2 million passengers annually. The new cruise shop, which opened in early July, offers products such as spirits, sweets and Welsh souvenirs.
R&F Travel Retail General Manager Monika Dagberg said: “R&F is very excited to open our very first shop targeting cruise passengers. This strategic move is part of our broader plan to expand our presence at key locations.
“We are happy to serve both cruise staff and passengers with local delights and high-quality duty-free products, all in a convenient and innovative setting.”
This shop is the fourth R&F Travel Retail location in the UK, continuing the company’s innovative use of repurposed containers to create sustainable retail spaces.
Dagberg added: “We look forward to expanding our cruise shops further, bringing our innovative approach to more locations, and continuing to meet the evolving needs of travellers.” 🛳️
