Ian Macleod Distillers to reveal travel-exclusive Glengoyne and Rosebank expressions in Cannes

The 28 Year Old is the first Glengoyne Single Cask release in travel retail

Ian Macleod Distillers will spotlight three travel retail-exclusive single malt Scotch whiskies on its new stand (Bay Village, Bay 3) at the TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes from 29 September to 3 October.  

The expressions include Glengoyne Highland Single Malt 12 Year Old First Fill Edition, Glengoyne Highland Single Malt 28 Year Old Single Cask and the third release in the Rosebank Lowland Single Malt Vintage Series. 

The independent Scottish distiller is extending the channel-exclusive Glengoyne The Spirit of Time collection with the 12 Year Old First Fill Edition.  

This single malt is crafted using first-fill American oak bourbon casks and first-fill oloroso sherry casks. The one-litre bottling comes at a retail sale price (RSP) of €79.90. 

Glengoyne Highland Malt Whisky Single Cask is 28 Years Old and limited to only 197 bottles, available exclusively in travel retail. The 70cl bottling of the 50.3% ABV expression is available at RSP €1,490.  

Rosebank Vintage Series III (47.5% ABV) is a 1991 vintage, and it will be 33 years old at the time of release. This expression is limited to 350 bottles sold at RRP €5,300.

Earlier this year Ian Macleod Distillers opened the Rosebank Distillery in Falkirk, Scotland. The 1991 vintage showcases the distinct Rosebank style with a light, floral character from triple distillation, balanced with oily notes from the worm tub condensers.

During the Cannes event, Ian Macleod Distillers will also highlight its rebranded Wincarnis Tonic and Ginger Wines, crafted from a distinctive blend of over 14 botanicals. It is a popular brand in the Middle East and Southeast Asia markets.
