China Duty Free Group strengthens Macau footprint with Avenida de Almeida Ribeiro opening

MACAU, CHINA. China Duty Free Group (CDFG) is set to unveil a store at M8, a landmark commercial complex on Avenida de Almeida Ribeiro in the heart of the Macau Peninsula’s business district.

Scheduled to open in mid-July, the cdf Macau Avenida de Almeida Ribeiro store will offer limited-time discounts, curated gifts and exclusive benefits for CDFG members.

The launch builds on the presence of the cdf Macau Grand Lisboa Palace Shop, as the leading travel retailer continues to strengthen its presence in Macau and offer premium shopping experiences to both residents and visitors.

M8 is a landmark commercial complex that anchors Macau’s Historic Centre redevelopment and revitalisation. Located in front of Senado Square, the project is 50 metres from the Ruins of St Paul’s – a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Since its opening in September 2024, M8 has brought together experiential retail that attracts tourists from around the globe. CDFG aims to further upgrade the luxury shopping offer and inject commercial vitality into this historic district.

cdf Macau Avenida de Almeida Ribeiro will unite top beauty brands, select fragrance houses, fashion boutiques, wines and an exclusive selection of food products to meet diversified consumer needs.

The opening demonstrates CDFG’s continued investment in the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area

The store design combines contemporary aesthetics with Macau cultural elements to create a sophisticated shopping environment.

CDFG members receive discounts from luxury brands and access to global shopping benefits. Membership points can be redeemed in stores worldwide, either to offset purchases or in exchange for additional benefits.
