Shenzhen Duty Free wins Yangzhou Taizhou International Airport duty-free tender

CHINA. Shenzhen State-owned Duty Free Goods (Group) Co has been awarded the departures duty-free contract at Yangzhou Taizhou International Airport, which serves  Yangzhou and Taizhou in central Jiangsu province.

Shenzhen Duty Free described the successful as is another key achievement in focusing on the development of the group’s core duty-free business, deepen its retail footprint in East China and expanding its national business footprint.

The airside store boasts an operating area of ​​nearly 213sq m. As a shared air gateway for Yangzhou and Taizhou, the airport is accelerating its construction towards the goal of becoming a ‘Yangtze River Delta tourism aviation hub’.

After its second-phase expansion project is put into operation, the airport’s passenger throughput and commercial area will be further improved, opening up a broader shopping space and development opportunities for the duty-free business.
