ASIA PACIFIC. Everrich Duty Free has debuted the latest single malt whisky from the Kavalan Distillery as an exclusive in its stores.
The distillery has introduced a new series, titled Rhythm of Taiwan Collection – with the first expression called Ocean. The release is priced at NT$3,850 (US$122).

Bottled at 43% ABV in a 700ml format, Ocean is matured in Fino sherry casks, which the partners said deliver “bright tropical fruit aromas layered with the nutty and rich dried-fruit characteristic of sherry influence. Flavours of buttery toffee, caramel fudge and silky milk chocolate unfold on the palate, followed by a gentle coastal salinity that reflects the essence of Taiwan’s tropical terroir.”
The bottle design takes inspiration from traditional Taiwanese Hakka indigo dyeing, using layered blue tones and fluid wave-like patterns to express the rhythm of the sea—an artistic tribute that Ever Rich said aligns with its dedication to promoting Taiwanese cultural identity through travel retail.
Under a long-standing partnership with the distillery Everrich expanded the Kavalan boutique within its Taipei downtown duty free store last year, offering guided tastings and curated flavour experiences to connect travellers with Taiwan’s whisky craftsmanship.
“The debut of Ocean marks a significant milestone in the partnership between the two Taiwanese brands and reinforces Everrich’s role in bringing local excellence onto the global stage,” said the retailer.
A statement added: “As demand for premium and rich Taiwanese spirits continues to rise, Everrich remains committed to collaborating with leading distilleries to introduce exclusive, story-telling releases to international travellers.
“Through Ocean, Everrich invites visitors to savour a new chapter of Taiwan’s whisky story—one shaped by innovation, island traditions and the spirit of the Pacific.”
