Heathrow highlights: Retail Director Fraser Brown salutes a record year

UK. Heathrow Retail Director Fraser Brown has saluted business partners and team members across the estate at the UK’s busiest airport for being on their ‘A-game’ in 2025, with multiple commercial openings and passenger traffic hitting new heights.

He was speaking in a special year-end video (click below for access) compiled by Heathrow Airport and shared with The Moodie Davitt Report that shows the scale of change and evolution that the retail team, with its partners, has delivered through 2025.

Brown pointed to a likely record year for passenger traffic at around 84 million, as well as a record month in August with over 8 million travellers served.

“No airport in Europe has done that and we cannot do it without the great engagement, not just of my retail team, but of all our great colleagues at the airport and of the partners we work with,” he said.

“We have seen record punctuality but also record service level scores…and a record number of retail and food & beverage openings over the first six months. And we are doing that in conjunction with all our partners as we know the consumer is more fickle than ever in their domestic physical shopping and eating and in their digital lives.

“Therefore, us all being collectively on our A-game is more important than ever.”
