SINGAPORE/FRANCE. Lindt & Sprüngli has brought its Tokyo Style Chocolate Matcha Strawberry to life through a series of curated airport activations at Singapore Changi and Paris Charles de Gaulle airports.
The twin animations follow the Tokyo Style Chocolate Matcha Strawberry’s recent global travel retail debut, underlining the brand’s focus on premium retail theatre, craftsmanship and culturally inspired storytelling within the airport environment.

Inspired by Japan’s 800-year tea tradition, Lindt Tokyo Style Chocolate – Matcha Strawberry blends creamy white chocolate with ceremonial-grade Chamei Minami matcha. The tablet is further enhanced with fruity strawberry pieces and crispy Genmai rice roasted using traditional Japanese techniques.
The result is a layered flavour profile with a delicate, nutty aroma.
At Lindt’s flagship boutique in Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 1, the Tokyo Style Matcha Strawberry Chocolate was showcased via an experience inspired by Japan’s matcha heritage.
As reported, the 35sq m Lindt flagship at Changi Airport, its first in the region, is run in partnership with travel retailer and distributor FNA Group.
Travellers can discover Lindor Strawberry & Cream and Lindor Matcha, sourced exclusively for the location.
Complimentary Matcha Strawberry drinks add a multi-sensory element, while staff dressed as Lindt Master Chocolatiers help with product storytelling and reinforce the matcha line’s artisanal credentials.
The Tokyo Style Chocolate Matcha Strawberry is available at Changi in a limited run of 100 individually numbered tablets, released on a first-come, first-served basis.

At Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport, Lindt showcased the Tokyo Style Chocolate with an activation in partnership with Extime Duty Free (the joint venture between Lagardère Travel Retail and Groupe ADP).
To celebrate the animation, Lindt & Sprüngli hosted a ribbon-cutting event featuring two Lindt Maîtres Chocolatiers. Attendees were able to sample a range of Lindt favourites, including Lindor Milk, Matcha and Strawberry & Cream, alongside freshly prepared Matcha drinks.
As in Singapore, 100 handmade, numbered tablets were released, each accompanied by a signed certificate.
The activations build on the momentum of Lindt’s recent travel retail innovations, following the success of its Dubai Style Chocolate concept in the channel, the company said.

“These flagship activations reflect our commitment to creating premium experiences that resonate with today’s travellers,” said Lindt & Sprüngli Head of Global Travel Retail Peter Zehnder.
“Following the success of our Dubai Style Chocolate, Tokyo Style Chocolate – Matcha Strawberry gives us another platform to bring buzz and innovation to the global travel retail channel.” ✈
