MEXICO. Los Cabos International Airport (SJD) will launch an invitation to participate in a Request for Proposal (RFP) for ten retail spaces within the International Terminal building and two additional areas in the Domestic Terminal.
Los Cabos Airport is managed by Pacific Airport Group (GAP), a company that owns and operates 12 airports in Mexico and two airports on the island of Jamaica.
This tender process will be carried out as the contracts of the current operators have reached the end of their term.
The tender guidelines include retail spaces ranging in size from 35 to 120sq m.
GAP’s objective is to provide passengers with a unique experience and make their time at the airport memorable.

The group said it seeks to ensure that the winners of the tender offer high-quality products, plus a variety of brands that meet passengers’ needs and expectations through an innovative commercial offering.
Proposals must be submitted in sealed envelopes to the GAP corporate offices and delivered to the commercial team on the specified dates and times.

A virtual information session will be held on 24 March at 16:00 (Central Mexico Time). The registration link will be available on the website mentioned above.
It is mandatory for all individuals and companies interested in participating in the process to register their attendance.
Los Cabos is located at the tip of the Baja California Peninsula, which stretches over 1,000 miles and is one of the world’s most diverse tourist destinations.
With a spectacular desert landscape as its backdrop and situated between the shores of the Pacific Ocean and the Sea of Cortez, Los Cabos is home to award-winning resorts and culinary offerings considered among the best available anywhere, GAP said.
A growing list of championship golf courses, spas, world-renowned sport fishing tournaments, Ironman marathons, and state-of-the-art convention facilities further enhance the destination’s appeal.
Los Cabos is within a six-hour flight of most cities in the US and southern Canada. The airport currently connects to 21 destinations in the United States and three cities in Canada. ✈
