HONG KONG, CHINA. Duty Zero by cdf marked the Year of the Horse with a festive campaign at Hong Kong International Airport, featuring localised experiences, brand collaborations and the launch of the first permanent House of Suntory shop-in-shop.
Duty Zero by cdf Deputy General Manager Enzo Li said: “At Hong Kong Duty Zero by cdf, we’ve transformed airport shopping into a journey of discovery. By weaving Hong Kong’s local stories with global prestige, we’ve created an experience that is memorable.
“This is not just a duty-free store – it is a celebration of culture and craftsmanship, redefining the airport retail experience through design aesthetics.”

The retailer has partnered with Gift at Races to offer a 2026 Chinese New Year limited-edition horse plush toys and a New Year-themed Foodie Dim Sum Blind Box set.
The Hong Kong-inspired collectibles were complemented by a bold 1980s-1990s street design Neon Light installation and DIY Neon Night Hong Kong postcard activation to deliver a stronger sense of place.
The retailer noted additional collaborations with Gift at Races are planned for 2026.
Beyond spirits: A distinctly Hong Kong experience

As part of the Chinese New Year celebrations, Duty Zero by cdf has underscored Hong Kong’s creative spirit through the launch of local gins including Perfume Tree and N.I.P Gin.
The launch was supported by an in-store tasting experience, where the brands’ bartenders crafted signature gin cocktails to reimagine the local distilling scene.
To drive gifting and discovery, the retailer also showcased rare global editions such as the Louis XIII Hong Kong Edition and Hennessy Spirit of Travel Hong Kong Limited Edition.
A landmark moment: Suntory’s first permanent shop-in-shop

As part of the festive push, Duty Zero by cdf has opened the first permanent House of Suntory shop-in-shop, presenting a portfolio ranging from limited-edition Yamazaki and Hibiki whiskies to Roku Gin and Haku vodka.
The House of Suntory highlights Japanese craftsmanship, heritage and innovation, offering travellers a rare access to its travel retail portfolio.
Looking forward to 2026, the retailer is set to expand local storytelling and innovative activations, further strengthening its position as a design-led airport retail destination. ✈
