Mionetto taps aperitivo boom with Orange Spritz Ready-to-Serve launch

The ready-to-serve format highlights Mionetto’s sparkling wine heritage rooted in Prosecco Valdobbiadene

Henkell Freixenet is expanding Mionetto’s presence in the fast-growing aperitivo segment with the Orange Spritz Aperitivo Ready-to-Serve range.

The expression is being launched in travel retail and domestic markets from April across Germany, Poland, Austria, the Baltic states and Czech Republic, before a wider international roll-out.

According to Henkell Freixenet, the launch builds on continued momentum in the aperitivo category, which recorded +5% volume growth in 2024 (Source: IWSR 2025).

Orange Spritz Aperitivo Ready-to-Serve blends Mionetto’s sparkling wine expertise with orange and botanical flavours to create a classic Spritz-style drink. It is made with 100% natural flavours and comes in a 0.75-litre bottle and a 0.2-litre on-the-go option.

The ready-to-serve format is designed to bring the Italian aperitivo ritual to a broader audience, the company said.

The collection offers both a 5.9% ABV variant and an alcohol-free alternative to meet diverse consumer needs. It comes in an elegant bottle design reflecting Mionetto’s Orange Soul branding.

The launch will be supported by marketing campaigns and activations which will drive in-store engagement across key markets.
