Today’s selection highlights how travel retail celebrated National Lipstick Day (29 July) with colourful initiatives that put one of beauty’s most enduring products in the spotlight.

At Dublin and Cork airports, ARI offered complimentary engraving with lipstick purchases. Travellers could also pose with oversized lipstick props, bringing a playful and social media-friendly dimension to the celebrations.

Unifree Duty Free tapped into the social media buzz with a mirror installation that invited travellers to try its most viral lipstick products, take selfies and share them digitally.

Dubai Duty Free, which also launched a mirror activation, invited travellers to embrace their inner artists. Travellers made lipstick doodles on a mirror, turning the beauty product itself into a tool for self-expression.

Heinemann Oceania showcased the diversity of its lipstick portfolio through a vibrant stop-motion reel featuring an array of brands including Valentino Beauty, Nars, Dior, Hermès and Chanel.

The Estée Lauder Companies marked the occasion by looking back at the evolution of lipstick across its brand portfolio.

The beauty giant looked back at how advances in science, artistry and craftsmanship have shaped its lipstick innovations over the years, while pointing to the continued development of next-generation, high-performance prestige beauty products.

From personalised purchases and photo opportunities to creative social media content, the colourful celebrations highlighted all the creative ways travel retail is bringing lipstick’s enduring appeal to life for travellers.
