Cavendish & Harvey adds multisensory twist to confectionery portfolio with two new flavours

A classic gets a colourful refresh: The updated golden tin houses mini drops featuring bold combinations of tropical fruits, berries and citrus

Cavendish & Harvey has unveiled two new additions to its confectionery portfolio, Fruit Fusion Mini Drops and Fizzy Fruit Drops, at the recent TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes.

Designed to strengthen travel retail assortments and appeal to impulse purchasers, both ranges feature premium packaging intended to enhance shelf visibility and gifting appeal.

The launches reflect the company’s response to evolving consumer preferences and the growing emphasis on multisensory experiences in confectionery, a trend highlighted in Mintel’s Future Report 2026.

The new range explores flavour combinations beyond traditional candy offerings. Fizzy Fruit Drops offer an unconventional taste experience, while Fruit Fusion Mini Drops combine two fruit flavours in a single drop, allowing them to merge into a balanced taste.

Bringing new flavour combinations to its classic golden tin format, Fruit Fusion Mini Drops are made with real fruit juice and feature three fruit varieties: pineapple & mango and passion fruit & raspberry; blueberry & peach and cherry & banana; as well as apple & lime and pear & grapefruit.

Featuring a compact drop format and colourful design, the range has a contemporary look intended to appeal to a broad consumer base. Its classic golden tin provides a distinctive premium presentation for travel retail assortments and gifting.

Adding a new texture to Cavendish & Harvey’s glass jar range, Fizzy Fruit Drops combine bold fruit flavours with a delicate, long-lasting fizz. The candies are available in five varieties: lemon, peach, orange, strawberry and cherry – and contain real fruit juice.

The pastel-coloured sweets are presented in decorative jars that combine modern design with nostalgic appeal. Available in 270g and 850g formats, the range adds a premium confectionery option to travel retail assortments, catering to both personal consumption and gifting.

Rooted in the brand’s 50-year heritage and premium positioning, the latest launches uphold its ‘Made in Germany’ identity, which remains central to its future development.

Production takes place at the company’s factory in Kaltenkirchen, Germany, which manufactures more than 40 million tins annually. The products are made with high-quality ingredients, natural flavours and colourings, and real fruit juice, and carry the ‘Made in Germany’ designation.

Part of the family-run Boettger Group since 2002, Cavendish & Harvey has recorded sales of around 30 million tins across more than 100 countries, becoming among the leading suppliers of premium hard candy in tins and jars. ✈
