UAE. Dubai Duty Free has partnered with Dubai’s Community Development Authority (CDA) to offer Sanad Card holders a -10% discount on eligible purchases and priority payment at designated counters.
The agreement supports shopping accessibility and independence for People of Determination, the UAE’s official term for people with disabilities, in line with Dubai Social Agenda 33.

It brings the travel retailer into the CDA’s Sanad Card scheme, which provides People of Determination with benefits and services from participating public and private organisations.
Dubai Duty Free Senior Vice President – HR Mona Al Ali and CDA Director of Financial Benefits Department Ali Al Qasim signed the agreement.

Dubai Duty Free Managing Director Ramesh Cidambi, CDA Director General HE Hessa Essa Buhumaid and CDA Social Regulation and Services Sector CEO Dr Ahmad Al Hashimi were in attendance.
Al Qasim said, “Our partnership with Dubai Duty Free is a step towards providing a more accessible and inclusive shopping experience to support the needs of People of Determination and support their participation with greater independence and confidence.
“By expanding our private sector partnerships, we aim to deliver meaningful benefits that improve everyday experiences and support the objectives of Dubai Social Agenda 33.”

Cidambi said, “At Dubai Duty Free, we believe that inclusion is about creating opportunities for everyone to participate and thrive.
“Through this partnership, we aim to make shopping more accessible and inclusive, reinforcing our commitment to the community.”
Recently making its second consecutive appearance at AccessAbilities Expo 2026, the retailer welcomed 4,146 visitors to its stand, up +176% on 2025, and collected 684 survey responses, three times the previous year’s total.

Dubai Duty Free used an interactive touchscreen to present its accessibility initiatives.
