BELGIUM. Belgian Sky Shops held a Victorian-style promotion for the launch of Hendrick’s gin at Brussels Airport Terminal B during August.
Brand owner William Grant marked the launch by converting the terminal’s theatre into a Victorian carousel featuring the gin’s unusual ingredients. Hostesses wearing Victorian dress completed the scene.
Said Belgian Sky Shops Commercial Manager Marc Leemans: “This theme was repeated throughout the terminal with often eccentric details and plenty of humour, resulting in a refreshing presentation for a new brand that no passer-by could miss and that was sure to put a smile on anyone’s face.”
About Hendrick’s Gin
Hendrick’s gin is produced in a restored 19th Century Carter Head Still at the Girvin distillery in South West Scotland.
Besides 11 botanicals, the gin is infused with cucumber and hand-picked rose petals from the Bulgarian Rosa Domascena, and is presented in an unusual bottle.
