INDONESIA. Travel experiences company Airport Dimensions has unveiled the Blue Sky Premier Lounge at Soekarno Hatta International Airport in Jakarta.
The new lounge highlights the company’s commitment to airport hospitality in Indonesia, following its acquisition of a 45% stake in PT Bumi Liputan Angkasa, a subsidiary of Indonesia’s Blue Sky Group, in March 2025.

The partnership was launched with a lounge opening at Makassar Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport late last year, with additional locations already in the pipeline.
Leveraging global expertise from Airport Dimensions and domestic lounge leadership from Blue Sky, the new premier lounge delivers a strong sense of place, complemented by international hospitality standards.

Strategically positioned on Level 2 in Terminal 1C, the lounge will cater to Citilink’s domestic passengers, tapping into the terminal’s mix of both business and leisure travellers.
The 350sq m space accommodates up to 76 guests, featuring a sleek, modern aesthetic designed to create a relaxing environment.

The lounge has non-smoking and smoking areas to serve all preferences.
Passengers are also offered check-in and baggage assistance to streamline their journey.
Blue Sky’s signature culinary offerings feature through a menu that balances international and locally inspired dishes.

These include popular Indonesian dessert Selendang Mayang, as well as buffet-style dining featuring Blue Sky’s signature mantau.
The lounge also offers a selection of live-cooked dishes throughout the day.

Guests can choose from a variety of drinks, including Blue Sky’s signature artisan coffee Ippolito at a dedicated coffee corner, cold-pressed juices at the Healthy Corner, and soft drinks.
Other amenities include a private VIP room for an additional fee, as well as a restroom and prayer (mushola) facilities.

PT Bumi Liputan Angkasa Director Sucin Rahayu said, “We see the lounge not simply as a physical space, but as part of the travel experience itself.
“Terminal 1C serves a very active mix of business and leisure passengers, and our goal is to provide them with a premium, seamless and comforting start to their journey – from check-in assistance to high-quality dining and relaxation.”

Airport Dimensions President EMEA and APAC Errol McGlothan added, “Indonesia is one of the most dynamic aviation markets in the region, and this creates a strong opportunity to rethink how airport spaces support domestic travellers.
“Our collaboration with Blue Sky brings together global expertise and local insight to design lounges that are intuitive, comfortable and relevant to the way people travel today.
“The Blue Sky Premier Lounge at Terminal 1C reflects this shared approach, offering a thoughtfully designed environment that enhances the passenger journey and sets the direction for future developments across Indonesia.”
The lounge is accessible to all travellers, including Priority Pass and LoungeKey cardholders.
Access is also available for walk-in passengers at a fee of IDR210,000 (US$12.50) per person, with additional entry available through pre-booking via a reservation hotline or participating membership programmes, subject to availability. ✈
