Airport Dimensions expands The Club lounge network in US

USA. Collinson company Airport Dimensions is expanding its US airport lounge network with several new openings. The airport experience specialist is building on its current 28 locations at 19 airports with lounges at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, Charlotte Douglas International Airport and San Francisco International Airport, with others to be named soon.

The biggest lounge provider in the US, Airport Dimensions is extending the reach of The Club brand.

At Cleveland Airport, The Club CLE has been designed by award-winning Texas-based architect Ibanez Shaw. The company said it features an “open ambiance, natural lighting and views over the busy airfield” with its signature ‘Rest’, ‘Relax’ and ‘Replenish’ zones.

The lounge is a partnership with local Airport Concessions Disadvantage Enterprise Floh Vodka, Flohport LLC. The lounge will serve Floh’s hand crafted, small batch, gluten free, allergen free and Kosher Seal certified premium vodka.

At Charlotte Douglas Airport, The Club CLT will showcase the culture and heritage of the city. It takes inspiration from Charlotte’s rich ‘gold rush’ banking history and the mountainous terrain across North Carolina, said Airport Dimensions. The lounge, designed by leading US architecture firm Corgan, will offer a full-service menu with locally inspired dishes, and a bar will stock a range of Charlotte-sourced beverages.

Spirit of California: How the bar space at The Club SFO will look upon opening

Additional openings across the US are planned in 2022 and 2023, with The Club SFO at San Francisco International Airport a key addition. Scheduled to welcome its first visitors in Spring 2023, the Club SFO will be located in the new Harvey Milk Terminal 1. Also designed by Corgan, the lounge will provide an experience “blending the warmth of the great Redwood Forest and the relaxed spirit of San Francisco” with a focus on passenger health and wellness, said Airport Dimensions.

Several local partnerships will weave in Northern Californian experiences at The Club SFO. The lounge will house artwork from the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, while the locally-inspired food & beverage offer will be supported by local culinary partnerships.

Travellers at the new lounges will have numerous options to gain access, including via Priority Pass, a Collinson company and sister company to Airport Dimensions.

These new launches in the US build upon expansion across the Airport Dimensions business, including growth in the Middle East with a new sleep offering launched in 2020, as well as the development of enhanced digital experiences with leading ecommerce and relationship platform Connecta.

Airport Dimensions President (Americas) Nancy Knipp said: “It’s great news for us at Airport Dimensions to be expanding our business in the US even further, and partnering with new airports at prominent, international locations. Despite the slowdown of travel in the last year, airports are keen to push ahead with plans for expansion, and having the right spaces for travellers to rest and relax will be absolutely vital.”

Airport Dimensions said it will announce plans to open additional lounges shortly.
