ASIA PACIFIC. Altavia Group has acquired Singapore-based agency ielo design in a move that strengthens its presence in South-East Asia and extends the reach of its travel retail division.
Co-founded in Singapore in 2014 by Cloe Faye and Jeanne Mouterde, ielo design crafts tailored brand communications and interior design for retailers, brands and F&B businesses.
The integrated agency offers a comprehensive range of services, including market insight, customer analysis, creative concepts and design development. It will complement the work of Altavia Group, a leading independent network dedicated to retail marketing services.
ielo design specialises in retail and travel retail, via a multicultural team comprising six nationalities and who speak eight languages. The client base spans local, regional and global markets, with a particular focus on the South-East Asian region.
From its studio in Singapore, the agency manages retail concept creations and adaptations as well as brand communication projects across the world. It has implemented initiatives in over 30 countries and more than 100 locations, including airports such as Singapore Changi, Hong Kong International, Hangzhou International (departures), London Heathrow and Paris Charles de Gaulle. Travel retail and brand clients include Lagardère Travel Retail, China Duty Free Group, EssilorLuxottica, Nikon, Sodiaal and Engie, among others.
ielo will join forces with Altavia Travel Retail, which provides strategy consulting, creative design and implementation services to airport management companies, retail and F&B operators plus brands in travel retail.
Altavia Travel Retail said the move would accelerate its development in South-East Asia with a highly experienced and skilled Singapore-based team, complementing the work of its offices in the UK, Dubai and China.
