Ars Parfum GmbH named global licensee for 2014 FIFA World Cup

Ars Parfum GmbH has signed a contract with Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) to globally distribute and sell official licensed edt and edp products in association with the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil.

The German company was an official licensee of FIFA in 2006, selling over 400,000 pieces worldwide – an accomplishment it described as an “excellent record”. The 2014 event is expected to be followed by 5.4 billion spectators worldwide.

“We are now looking for exclusive partners per country who would like to be part of the successful story,” said Ars Parfum GmbH Managing Director Guido Schmitt.

With the theme “˜All in one rhythm’, the 2014 range will feature two different perfume concepts – FIFA Brazil Classic and FIFA Brazil Passion – all centred on the Brazilian lifestyle.

Dubbed as “warm-up fragrances”, FIFA Brazil Classic comprises two perfumes in black and white packaging. They will launch during Christmas 2013.

FIFA Brazil Passion is designed to evoke “the spirit of Brazil”, with brighter and more colourful packaging. The two fragrances will roll out on Valentine’s Day in 2014.

The juice will be developed by French perfumers using Brazilian fragrance essences.

Ars Parfum GmbH is exhibiting at China Travel Retail 2013 this week, where it will present the FIFA opportunity to interested parties.
