SINGAPORE. The Shilla Duty Free has celebrated the first anniversary of Shilla Beauty Loft at Singapore Changi Airport with the help of Korean Wave (hallyu) star Lee Kwang Soo, who is known as the ‘Asia Prince’.
As part of its first anniversary celebrations, Shilla Beauty Loft has partnered with three luxury beauty companies – Dior, La Prairie and SK-II – to launch new ‘Travel Ready’ beauty services.
The specially-curated services include a new Dior complexion and brow makeover, a SK-II R.N.A (Radical New Age) Power eye massage and La Prairie’s signature Platinum Forever facial treatment. The 20-minute sessions are available to travellers until December 2016.
Lee Kwang Soo stars in popular Korean variety show Running Man. He was making his first appearance as brand ambassador for The Shilla Duty Free in Singapore, taking part in a public autograph session (see images below) in the airport’s Terminal 3 Departure Hall. Fans were able to take photographs with the Korean Wave star.
He also participated in a behind-closed-doors press conference, where he shared his thoughts on being appointed the face of the duty free company.
Lee Kwang Soo said of the new Travel Ready services: “Now travellers can feel more rejuvenated and recharged after long flights. Shilla has delivered another thoughtful service for their customers.”
The Shilla Duty Free Head of Global Merchandise Division Raelene Johnson commented: “The new flash beauty services at Shilla Beauty Loft have been meticulously created with travellers in mind.
“We believe in continually evolving our travel retail offerings, and as a Perfumes & Cosmetics operator; elevating the beauty and skincare experience is always at the forefront of our strategy.
“Together with our key brand partners Dior, La Prairie and SK‑II, we strive to pamper our customers with a well-rounded range of beauty express services. Whether they are in need of a beauty expert’s magical touch or to refresh themselves with a beauty ritual pre- or post-travel, Shilla Beauty Loft is the perfect haven for travellers to enjoy a brief respite before catching their next flight.”
