Avolta unwraps Italy’s first Costa Coffee store at Rome-Fiumicino Airport

ITALY. Leading global travel experience player Avolta has opened a Costa Coffee venue at Rome-Fiumicino Airport. It the first venue in Italy for the café brand since it was founded by two Italian brothers, Bruno and Sergio Costa, in 1971.

The store is located in the airport’s non-Schengen zone, providing a place for travellers to sample a range of Costa coffees alongside locally sourced artisanal delicacies.

The menu for the café features Costa’s Signature Blend coffees, including a classic Italian espresso and cappuccinos, alongside a diverse choice of other hot and cold beverages, including plant-based options. Products are offered in multiple formats to be enjoyed in-store or on-the-go.

In addition to an extensive beverage offering, the store also offers a selection of pastries, such as croissants, cakes and muffins, plus savoury items such as wraps, sandwiches and bagels.

The store’s official opening offered travellers the chance to sample some of Costa Coffee’s food and drink and enjoy a Latte Art Show, with baristas showcasing their talent, passion and flair for serving an artistic, hand-crafted cup of coffee.
